Congratulations Pam! Those of us in the middle of this "adventure" need to know that our sanity will be intact after the fur has stopped flying and the power tools go silent. Well, silent untill the next honey-do project
 . The other day a future neighbor gave me a couple of strawberry plants (haven't the faintest clue how to care for them) but you can certainly have one if you would like. One even has a baby strawberry on it! More than likely I'll be headed up to the Roc this weekend so let me know. Congrats on getting FINALed - that has got to be one awesome feeling. Any insight on that aspect you care to share? Sophie and I will have to drive on up one of these days just to enjoy seeing the finished product - we were so impressed when you hosted the Punatic party. Of course, should you be hosting again... Thank you everyone for all your good thoughts. Though many things are unfinished to my standard, we went for what was required by the county and bank and will work on some of the more interesting aspects of staircases and railings around the lanai in our leisure. It DOES feel great to wake up and know no one can say I shouldn't be here, no one will be running a drill or saw in the bathroom while I am still sleeping, etc...
As for the next party... I am game if no one else feels brave. Start thinking about it. May could be a great time and this time we have an indoors... we don't have a dining room table yet but we have flush toilets and a working kitchen. Wooo hoooo Just another day in P A R A D I S E !!

Don't forget about the August 2006 Punatic Party after the May 2006 Party. In August, my 2 children (boy-4; girl-15) will be with me. If my husband can't attend the August Punatic Party, then there's always November 2006, February 2007, or May 2007. Laura Kimmick Henderson, Nevada

Perhaps I have a misunderstanding here, not uncommon! LOL. Are Punatic parties impromptu or is there now a schedule to be followed? Just curious.

Mella, I don't think you misunderstand at all. Impromptu (both time and place) sure beats scheduled IMHO. We are looking forward to being the host site some future day and hope Punatics will travel this far north. LOL
Pam, I guess a party at your recently completed palace would be a terrific followup especially for any who only got a glimpse of the tremendous effort you made. I know, I am definitely looking forward to see the finished product. Depending when in May, Sophie may or may not be able to attend as she will be back on mainland (5/9-5/22) meeting our first grandchild due to enter this world Apr 11th. David Ninole Resident

I like impromptu myself.... but a few of us threw around the term "quaterly" in general instead of monthly and you know how that goes.... but May would be fun for me. Hapy to have everyone look at their calendars and see if any time is better than any other... Pam
