Just saw this editorial on star-advertiser about PUEO and the TMT. Thought people might find it interesting. They are planning an event for kids on Sept. 24th too.

Edit: I see they are also hosting an event today

That is interesting that OHA is going to do their meetings on Oahu. Judge Amano's court is on Hawaii island, regarding Hawaiian lands. These are proceedings and hearings so there isn't any big court decision for quite awhile. Watching this build up is quite the reality TV show. This is going to be great, watching what the state comes up with for the pro-TMT battle, TMT Corp using the state as proxy offense. That's why it is Ha-Ha-Ha-Hawaii-eeeeeee!

THINK Fund Offers STEM Grants to Big Island Schools"

"
Mrs. Richards’ science class at Kea‘au High School received a STEM classroom grant in the 2015-16 school year. Instead of having her students read about decomposition, the students got their hands dirty and created interactive presentations that told the story. “These kids didn’t present dry, written lab reports,” Mrs. Richards said. “They created art to tell their scientific stories. We’re empowering young scientists, thanks to the grant.”"

A complete hot mess. All of it. SMH.[
!]
We shall see, if what transpires, will be in
our best interest (ALL of us).
Tired of the rhetoric from both sides, who have valid arguments, yet, fail to realize the impact on our communities. The political influence is beyond description, no matter the arguments.
Personally, I am so disgusted with the entire "process" we are enduring (no longer going to debate this issue here on PW; it is "fruitless", and devoid of any sensible discussion, given the topic).
JMDO. (Just my disgusted opinion. SMFH.)

So I notice that the comments following that article about the disinterment unanimously condemn the act. I also condemn what I consider a scam by people I doubt are really sincere in their religious beliefs but I am always suspicious when the comments are so one-sided. Hmmm.

Mark - the comments should be ignored. It's just an allegation at this point. I hope it turns out to be wrong.
