Puna scorpions
#1
I know we have scorpions on this island but I thought it was more of a Kona / Waikaloa thing. Today while vacuuming the wife thought she sucked up a scorpion. Do we have scorpions in Puna?

Has anyone in your household travelled to the Kona side recently or have you had visitors from there? Could a scorpion have hitchhiked in plant materials or gear to your house? I know someone who had one end up in the boxes they used to pack supplies when they camped at Hapuna, luckily they spotted it when they unpacked because it was a female with babies.
