I and many others think he will be forced out of office like Nixon due to some past, present or future scandal. Then we'll have Pence as POTUS. His feelings on the subject are well known and unwavering.

The state Department of Health signed a contract for a web-based, seed-to-sale medical marijuana tracking system... Note how the "news coverage" doesn't mention a start date or the fact that there is still no certified lab (also required). Seems to me the State should be liable for setting a date by which dispensaries can open while simultaneously preventing them from opening by failing to manage the many "requirements"...

With Trumps recent cabinet posts, I think one would be nervous if they had a MMJ card.

"With trump as president...you may see a reversal in the Feds allowing Hawaii (and other states) to license it."
The Feds have NO AUTHORITY, what-so-ever, as to what states can or cannot do OR what laws they can or cannot pass (EXCEPT, of course, anything related to sedition, secession, etc). State law TRUMPS (no pun intended) Federal law and most states (I DON'T know about Hawai'i) have 'anti-commandeering' statutes in place that prevent the 'state' from funding any federal efforts to enforce federal law in that state if it is contrary to that state's laws. In other words, MOST states will NOT fund or support any federal agency or branch of the government if they (FedGov) decide to go after someone/entity who is following state law but violating fed law. And as far as Trump goes, he has (will) neither the power nor authority, in any sense of the term, to do anything, what-so-ever, about any particular state's laws. It is NOT in the purview of POTUS to dictate state law. ~ jus' sayin' ~ Aloha Kai ~ ~ ~ Kaihekili

Dont think a DEA agent would care to hear you tell them they have NO AUTHORITY. Guess you could try after they kick in your door and throw you to the ground put a boot on your neck and a gun in your face.

I will site as my source every cop show ever made on television. The moment an FBI agent walks into the local police station, the FBI is in charge. And no, that does not include From Big Island agents.
