Medical Marijuana Registration Folly?
#1
A friend who has had a medical marijuana card expressed a concern. Trump's Attorney General choice, Jeff Sessions, is a hard core drug dinosaur. Marijuana is not smoked by "good people" he says. My buddy (pun intended) wonders if the drug roundup will start with easy targets. Card holders. And the "legal" pharmacies? Maybe Mr. Ha should reconsider tomatoes.

And the "legal" pharmacies?

How "convenient" that State dragged their feet -- none of the "dispensaries" have gotten beyond the paperwork stage.

With Mr. Sessions stand on pot, one would be nervous enough having a card, therefore "on the list". But as I believe FishinJims statement about OxyContin that's OK, because it is an approved drug by FDA standards. In my opinion, they should leave MMJ for medical use alone, and instead focus their funds on "Ice" eradication.

Manufactured by an approved Big Pharma company, regulated, taxed, and covered by insurance...

Sessions will have a hard time getting confirmed by his own party. His history as a racist Biggot are hard to deny or accept for anyone. I seriosly doubt he gets the chance to come after MMJ. I refuse to get the card more for the reason its a rip off. As well as not wanting to be on that list. What does the state do with the money they collect for the cards? I think they will piss away any amount of tax money collected from the dispensaries in the same fashion. If this war on weed is taken on I could see states seriously thinking of sucession if they arent already. Colorado you listening?

Say it ain't so! Our super-diligent state representative Joy Sanbuenaventura totally missed the dengue epidemic to expedite the legal work on the medical marijuana bill. How could this happen?

Name one modern president (or elect) that wasn't elected with funding from corporate lobbyists with their hands in the big pharma cookie jar. It's a short list.

FWIW, methamphetamine is also an approved prescription drug (used for ADHD and obesity), as is cocaine (used as an anesthetic for nasal surgery).

Seriously, Kalakoa. You nabbed it. Chunker: Same here on the mainland. I still believe in the hemp conspiracy - paper and pulp magnets pushed out the very fabric our first flag was made of. (Apologies to my English teacher grandmother who is in heaven reminding me not to end a sentence with a preposition.)
