Maku'u fee increase 5/7/17
#1
Starting May 7 2017:

Parking $2

Vendor rates:

10x10 $35
Food 1 $40 (spices, drinks, desserts)
Food 2 $50 (fruits, vegetables)
Food 3 $75 (hot food)
Tables $5/each
Chairs $2/each

Pahoa Market is now at Nanavale Longhouse; it used to fit under the big covered patio, but has started spilling out into the parking lot.

I believe the "Pahoa Market at Nanavale" is Sundays 9-2.

I hope their increased fees cause a huge drop in attendance.

I hope they can afford to build a couple more damn picnic tables, there's never a place to eat close to the music!

FYI we've picked up a couple Maku'u vendors at the HA farmer's market, where we have no fees! I'm starting to do my grocery shopping there on Saturdays!

Makuu is fun to take visitors to, but if your looking for veggies Hilo farmers market has a better selection at a lower price
