Co2 levels reach 410 ppm.

In just two years it went from 400 to 410 at the Mauna Loa observatory.. how much higher can it go before we are SOL.

Currently 409.5

Depends.
Will the Maun Loa Observatory keep their funding?
If they do, will scientists there be allowed to report their data?

When aliens arrive at the Kalapana Star Sanctuary in the future, they'll plug into the still functioning earth-interface conduit and retrieve the final recorded message:

Once the "protectors" win back Mauna Kea, will any science be allowed on Mauna Loa?

The readings will go back down when Mauna Loa and her sister Kilauea vent less Co2.

Terracore - please read the following articles. The scientists involved in atmospheric monitoring are more than aware of the local volcanoes and how to take them into account.

I have read them, and for the most part I am a firm believer in the scientific method.

"Most of the time, though, the prevailing winds blow the volcanic gasses away from the observatory. But when the winds do sometimes blow from active vents towards the observatory, the influence from the volcano is obvious on the normally consistent records and any dubious readings can be easily spotted and edited out (Ryan, 1995). "

Whenever the media lists the "highest co2 concentrations ever recorded" it's always on Mauna Kea. Who is doing the peer-review on the Mauna Kea data that is kept versus the obvious "influence from the volcano" data that is "edited"?

Is it impossible that Co2 levels exist somewhere between "obvious" and "not obvious" influence from the volcano?

No.
But the Protectors will get first choice of prime summit top addresses for their ahu. Then after decades of unmeasured global warming, Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa become the last cool, habitable regions where humans can survive on earth. A war breaks out among the final survivors when they can't agree on whether they should move a few ahus so the tribe can plant and grow enough food for the next season. Humanity's last gasp.

Millennia later, a passing starship pauses on it's way to the landing pad at the Kalapana Star Sanctuary. Their crew looks down at the mountaintops and wonders, "what are all those rocks doing up there?"

Terracore, please read my second link again, but click on the "Advanced" tab near the top. You'll get answers to your questions. Secondly, my guess the site on Mauna Loa is often cited is because it's considered one of the best sites for atmospheric monitoring.

Why wouldn't they use the site near Cape Kumukahi be used, instead? Or if it is, why aren't those numbers published as well?

CO2 up to 410, huh? Then why isn't the temperature increasing? I thought that CO2 was the magic knob controlling everything?
