Isaac Hale closed bathrooms

New bathrooms that obviously cost in the millions have been closed for at least two months! Replaced with porta jons! What the hell happened!

Is the outside water spigot working?
Maybe they couldn't keep the Toilet Paper in the bathrooms, TP is a hot commodity in the Puna district. Hopefully the porta jons are cleaned every week and not tipped over on Red Road Racing nights. I wouldn't be surprised if some find Dead rotting fish left behind in the Isaac Hale Porta Jons at times.

Bathrooms are now open. Happened over the 4th weekend. They look untouched. Must have run out of money for the porta potties.

Hate to emphasize negative stuff, but we have a shady cast of characters at many beach parks that abuse the bathrooms.

I remember talking to a county worker years ago who told me of the challenges they have to keep clean facilities.

The bathroom was exactly as it was before they closed it, same graffiti,urinals, everything! Unless they had a water or septic problem nothing changed. We use it every other day or so. Still nice they reopened it.

They managed to turn the water back on to the bathrooms, but then turn it off to the outdoor showers and spigot by the loop. So now you can't rinse off...

Bathrooms were closed cause Shawn lava tourists tskes 200 people a day lava boat; killed the pipes iby overuse . Negotiations with Dnlr took two months and now they **** off water at Pohoiki cause they blew out those pipes fixing bathroom . Sean is paying how much for the tourists in the over sized illegal boats ?
