Just curious. How will you know you're actually meeting Obie and not some imposter? [Wink]

Leo - this is becoming tiresome. Obie is a guy that lives in the Kapoho area and is incredibly generous. He is free to post on threads about HPP which seems to be the source of your irritation. Yes, he winds some people up and we've certainly had disagreements, but he doesn't deserve the weird claims you have been making. As for the "generous" claim, please read this:

Tom, we're all entitled to our own opinions and beliefs. If you want to believe Obie's a Kapoho man, that's your own business. Being charitable doesn't give anyone a free pass to treat people with disrespect so I'm not impressed. Haven't you sparred with the same people numerous occasions on different threads? Haven't you accused people of changing their identity posting under a different name? What makes you so different?

Leo - you are relatively new here and perhaps don't know about the long history of some on Punaweb. You are, of course, entitled to your own opinions and beliefs, but that's all they are, they are certainly not facts which is how you are trying to portray them. As for claiming other people are sock puppets, well, you do know I base that on reliable evidence, don't you? If I couldn't, I wouldn't do it.

Now, after helping disrupt this thread, perhaps you might return to the topic of the water shortage on the Kona side?

Tom, you think because you have 5938 posts under your belt allows you to be pompous, go off topic to tell me I'm not basing my information on fact and order me to get back on topic? Please enlighten us on how you have reliable evidence that the person you claim is posting under a new identity is fact? You're bullying that person because you have "reliable evidence" is being hypocritical. How about considering that I have reliable evidence? I may be relatively new but that doesn't make my information any less reliable or factual.

I have more posts than both of you combined. What's your point exactly?

How about considering that I have reliable evidence?

Is it about the pump failures or DWS management?

http://www.hawaiitribune-herald.com/news...r-expected

Palila operates an orchard of 300 grapefruit trees, producing and selling more than 26,000 pounds ... has been trucking in water three times a day at $400 per truckload and also has been forced to reorganize its plumbing to make irrigation viable.

Ironic (not) how ag is "critical" (when it comes to opposing progress) but somehow not quite important enough to justify competent management of a critical public utility.

I know Obie's name and what he looks like. He is not a woman, believe me!
