I believe the next event is sometime in 2020 and there's also another one due in 2021. After those, there's a bit of a break until 2026.

On the cusp of 1999 / 2000 there was something called " Y2K " .
It was the end of the world for all internet related computers - cell - phones and such. Of course nothing happened . It was just a glitch in the code as no dates were set up past 1999 when the code was developed at OSU for inter university use only in the late 1950s. 4tran and other code writing script. Mrs.Mimosa

All the code I wrote allowed for 4-digit years and this was starting back in the '70s.,
Fortran allowed this. COBOL was problematic, but I created work a-rounds. I was never concerned about Y2K.....
