Stolen Tiki Statue: Kehena Beach Estates
#1
Someone stole one of my two tikis from outside my gate in the early morning hours this morning 10/17/17 on Mauka Nui Street in Kehena Beach Estates. They tried to get the other one as well but it might have been too heavy (about 200 lbs.)

It's concrete about 3 ft high thin-box-like shape with a guardian face.
If anyone comes across something like that please respond. Police were notified.

probably best to put the remaining one behind the gate, chances are they are already plotting to get it later with a few more people to help out. Theft is at a rampage these days. Unless you got a few good dogs and neighbors best to lock up anything of value.

Sad times for the big island.

Wishing you lots of luck in getting your item back. Cops are pretty much worthless in retrieving items.

Sad times for Puna, you mean. A lot of Puna's problems are just that, and theft is one of them.

Oh please.

There are thieves everywhere.

Thieves not allowed in Discovery Harbour per the CC&Rs, which makes it obviously superior to the Great Unwashed Puna District.
