The 766 acres in Honomu... will be the first new agricultural Hawaiian homestead community in almost 20 years, DHHL says.
They're getting right on that homesteads for the Hawaiian people thing. Is that their new timeline, once every generation? They won't ever reduce the waiting list at this pace, if anything, the list will get longer every year. You would think people would be outraged by the way their grandparents and children, not to mention they themselves are being treated. Even rocks are regarded with more respect by some Hawaiian advocates.

The "blood quanta" requirement means eligibility will vanish within a couple of generations, after which all that land will be ... reserved for whom, exactly?
