In today's Herald Tribune, Hele-on has secured federal funding for bus service over Saddle and DOWN TO FIRST STREET IN HPP

Let me live for a while in my belief these will run regularly, decrease conjestion and offer speedy and cheap alternative to driving

I wonder why first street? It's only paved from Makuu to Paradise.

How much does County pay HPPOA for use of their private roads?

No one's squawked about it yet, so FREE so far. Bummer 1st and Kaloli isn't paved so the Hele On could service that side too.

I seem to recall objection to PMAR on the grounds that people would get a "free ride" on "our roads that we paid for". What makes Hele-On different?
