Total Lunar Eclipse In Hawai'i
#11
Eric1600,

I'm very disappointed. You could at least have given some credit. Your post that says "from another article" is a direct quote from the link I provided.

rainyjim - I was really asking for a reference to back up your claim, not an example that didn't help. As I said, I'm not doubting what you say, I just want to know where you saw the claim.

Back to you, Eric:

"According to NASA the last time the supermoon, bluemoon and eclipse happened was 1866."

Please provide a link so I can check this out.

Thanks.

I am so glad I crawled out of bed to see this. I even managed to get a couple of decent photos (I'm no photographer and used a basic point and shoot Nikon).

Carey - I've created a shorter link if you want to edit your post:

Unfortunately, I can't see the picture as you need a facebook account. I hope it's available elsewhere.

I got to spend a night camping on my lot in Eden Roc and woke up to a completely quiet jungle during peak! Popped out to see the stars looking like they were so close and the moon was so beautiful! I opted not to try to get a picture because I knew I could never capture the vivid dynamics I could see with my eyes! So amazing! Now I know why it never worked out to spend a night up there before this historic event! I couldn't have planned a more perfect night except after peak when the roosters all went nuts!
