Black sands subdivision
#1
Fletch again. I do not know why but this little subdision catches my interest. Is thisan outpost of artist doing there thing. Or isit really the will west rumor that is sometimes spread. The small lots seem appealing and off the beaten track. any thoughts. Fletch

Aloha fletch. I have friends in Blacksands Beach, it is maybe more alternative than some other areas, some homes are permitted, many are not. There are many one-of-a-kind cabins, campsites, people living in vehicles, etc. in this area. Many don't have electric,(many don't care), Lots here are a little higher in price than nearby areas such as Nanawale. My take on the reason for this is there are lax or nonexistant covenants in BSB, so you can build or live in anything you want, and also its fairly close proximity to Kaimu, Kehena, and the beaches there.

Whenever I drive into BSB I have a feeling I reached an area where time stands still. It's probably as much of an "Old Puna" as it comes.
