School Walkouts
Then the solution is obvious: nobody should be allowed any technologies invented after the Constitution was written.

Here's another possibility:
Since Amendments can change the Constitution, when new technologies are invented allow Amendments to reflect the reality of the present day world.

What do you think the Founding Fathers intended? Stagnation? Or development, improvement, and expansion... an industrial and technological manifest destiny? The Founding Fathers found it necessary to add Amendments shortly after the Constitution was written, I think they'd understand some changes hundreds of years later.

I would like to post this video here. It compares a gent shooting a stock AR-15, then shooting the same gun after installing a bump stock. This is the setup the Las Vegas shooter had on his SR-15, along with a whole lot of aftermarket high capacity magazines all loaded up and ready to go. A stock AR-15 comes with, I believe, a 30 round mag. Aftermarket mags are available with, from what I've seen, 90-maybe 100 rounds each.
Watch this video, and then tell me that you're just fine with civilians owning a weapon outfitted this way:

The Federal Assault Weapons Ban of 1993 included a ban on magazines capable of holding more than ten rounds of ammunition.[17]:1–2 The Public Safety and Recreational Firearms Use Protection Act, commonly called the assault weapons ban (AWB), was enacted in September 1994. The ban, including its ban on magazines capable of holding more than ten rounds of ammunition, became defunct (expired) in September 2004 per a sunset provision. Attempts to renew the ban have failed on the federal level.

Again: who do our lawmakers work for? Clearly not "we the people".

I'm pretty sure they didn't intend that government be For Sale To The Highest Bidder.

Mag size based on the Statistic we need to know. How many roosters on the average farm here ?

That "assault weapons ban" is no longer in effect. Here is a 100 round mag for an AR-15:

"If you only count certain cities or specific mass shootings, the US is doing great!"

The NRA must be passing out dumb pills (not to you HOTPE, I think I've heard this "fact" before).
Of course the prevalence of X declines if you leave out the places where X occurs the most.
I assume they are then comparing the US minus big cities to other countries where the big cities are conveniently still included.

Once again, it takes a special type of mental flexibility to be a NRA slave.
