Jury duty in Honolulu
#41
conflicting and vague information

I was once summoned, got an exemption, called the court because I wanted to be sure, being as it's a crime not to show up.

It took several tries before someone answered. They acted like it was a huge inconvenience, I was wasting their time, and could I please just not bother to call back?

Go for it Wao nahele wahini. All the mixed and conflicting information we receive needs to be corrected by the Courts. Bringing public attention to the problem through the Newspapers sounds like a good idea. You would be helping a lot of people who’s lives are adversely affected by half as*ed Jury Summons’s.

I was also thinking about compiling the conflicting and vague information, and writing a letter about it to the court and possibly a newspaper editor.

If this was a Federal jury, I would include the congressional delegation - otherwise the Feds will just ignore it...
