About knocked the house off stilts in mt view. just felt another smaller one also, aand another one....

Initial magnitude 5.6 near Kalapana. That could be revised up like the last one, though.

Yeah, bigger than last year's 4.x. Or at least longer shaking! My dogs, which run and hide from lightning, did not seem to care at all about the quake.

Out in the area where the lave entered the ocean... marked down to 5.3... just having a series of tremors now....

I was just getting into my car by Blaine’s in orchidland. Never felt anything like it. Car was dancing like someone was jumping on it. Actually saw the ground moving. I’ve been through numerous 5’s. This was bigger.
People in the parking lot were speechless just looking at each other. Wow! I’m concerned what’s coming. That was a lot of energy.

My house and car were just doing the Hula!
One Thing I can always be sure of is that things will never go as expected.
