There was a PW user a few years ago who built a container home on Pohoiki just down from Shane Turpins place. It did not survive the lava.

I used him with my container house and all he did was hook me up with Frank Cole to do the drawings and apply for the owner builder building permits. As I was on the mainland at the time he did find someone to do the clearing on my property but his help adds to the cost and I had to constantly bother him to get anything accomplished.

You may have fared better than you think. I’m having a hard time getting anyone to respond, let alone accomplish something.
