I actually wouldnt recommend Taylor. He didnt follow through and the project took forever to be completed. Also when there were questions, he didnt return phone calls both from me or my boss @ the time.

The other draftspeople I use get things done in a timely fashion.

Ok, so this seems to be his business style...just ignore his clients to really piss them off..any one want to get together to file a lawsuit?

Yep, been there myself.

Hired him to do the "shed" plans. That was the beginning of my challenges. He submitted the plans to the county without my approval- assuring me I could make "as built" changes without a problem. As far as I was concerned, the plans weren't feasible to build as drawn. Heck, even the driveway was mismarked on the plan. I made a remark (ld phone) that he maybe be able to do a computer drawing, but I seriously doubt that he's actually built anything personally. Sophie reminds me I might have been a bit rude.

Anyway, sure enough, I failed my building inspection because what I built and what he drew were not a match. Inspector told me to get new drawings and another permit. That was Sep 2004. It soon became impossible to reach Taylor until Mar 2005. He told me he had hired an assistant and appatently wasn't getting all his calls, email, mail, etc.
I did get new drawings and permit in Sep 2005 - but also at full price.

I'd not recommend him again without telling the factors of my experience.

of course, I would be really happy if everyone used my services to get their plans done and permitted -- tee hee -- but baring that, please email me for a list of drafting people that I have worked with and think their quality of work is acceptable.
