tried Round up - does nothing to it. Anyone have any good solutions

The mini excavator is perhaps overkill, and it's not exactly cheap to rent one for a week, but ... ripped out everything I didn't want, fixed up the driveway, scooped mulch into the treebeds ... fun times.

As seeb said, Roundup does nothing. It will still come back. Maybe you want to strengthen the ratio of the carcinogenic Roundup to eradicate your troublesome weeds? Hopefully not though.

Eat a good breakfast and go out there one morning all hydrated and do some work. Dig it up. You'll feel great when it's gone and keep your body in good shape too. Bye bye cane-grass.
