Get rid of lawn mower
#1
Where does one dispose of a lawn mower besides the side of the road.

Deck is rotted, engine used to start on one pull, might still be useable .. do those things have bearings in the bottom?.. anywho got a new one.

I have a sudden craving for popcorn..

Drive around with it in the back of your pickup truck until it's stolen.

Put it on Craigslist, describing honest condition, for $50 as is. Then if you get any replies, be ready to be haggled down to $0. The buyer picks up...

Transfer station is the accepted answer. But taking a trip to walmart with it in the back might work just as well. Thanx.

Funny we laugh about that last fact.. Is that bad?

I still feel uneasy throwing dead microwaves in the regular trash bin (In Hilo) But thats what they said to do.

The problem with leaving a dead mower in the back of a truck hoping it gets stolen is that the type of person who would steal it would ditch it on some roadside once they figured out it was dead.

Chunkster, more likely the lawn mower would be the deciding factor to steal the truck. Truck left burned on the side of the road. Lawn mower missing, presumed dead.

Transfer station. You do take the rest of your garbage there, right? The additional effort should be insignificant.
