Absentee Ballots

We were off island when absentee ballots were sent out.. Ballots are not forwarded. Can we still do walk in voting?

You can take your ballot to your polling place on election day before 6PM so I imagine you could vote there instead.

You can walk in with or without your mail-in ballot and still vote. They invalidate the mailed one in the computer in case someone tries to vote twice. I walk-in vote so I know I did not make mistakes and my vote is counted.

FYI they are also letting you register and vote same day at the walk-in absentee voting the next couple weeks. It will be much faster to register and/or vote than on Nov 6th.

To add to randomq. The deadline to register was the 9th. As above, new registration can be done on Nov. 6th. 7th for blue wavers.
