For those that start with, "what does this have to do with Puna?"
Well... We eat food in Puna. Cancer exists here too.
This topic is connected with all my beliefs and posts here on Puna-Web in the past.
This study show's you are 25% less likely to get a cancerous disease if you eat organic. 25%!! That is huge:

Want to dispute the reputation of the website? Here's another:

Guess what? If you're eating food that is GMO then you aren't eating organic. Also if you're eating food that was sprayed with Roundup then you aren't eating organic.
Okay inserting sarcasm here because that is the language that many posters here understand best: Yeah guys, there is no advantage in eating organic food. Those damn hippies that do that are just off their rocker huh?
"As far as EW is concerned, he's welcome to live in his utopian fantasy world where he grows his own (completely organic) food in his victory garden free of any man-made pesticides - I wish him well with that... as long as he doesn't require that I do the same."
IMHO "Organic" is one huge marketing campaign, and only that, and I couldn't care less about GMO, one way or another. Getting enough Calories??? Now that is a different kettle of fish entirely.
Monsanto hasn't lost anything, yet.
All food is organic, except if you eat rocks.
Viva the appeal process!
if you are so insistent on not being exposed to synthetic chemicals, then buy only certified organic ... and take your own risks for exposure to salmonella and rat lung worm and all the other entirely natural nasties that those synthetic pesticides and treatment chemicals are intended to curtail....
Another victory for the anti-science crowd, hooray. It will indeed be interesting to see what effect this has.
I hope it leads to a range of products proudly labelled "non-GMO" and twice the price with no health benefits (just like Organic).
Lack of education will cost you sooner or later.
(insert sarcasm again): yea no heath benefits at all.
Organic labeling is a farce anyway because there are so many loopholes to circumvent the requirements. Organic labeling is a bureaucratic process, not a method of farming.
I prefer inorganic food.
The organic foods industry is a con of credulous - and often unwell - people to induce them to pay extortionate prices for no benefit whatsoever.
(more sarcasm) -yup geochem no benefit whatsoever huh? Eat organic crow.
