Tree service workers casing property?
#21
When we lived on 4rd near D rd in H.A. that same crew or one similar was doing pretty much same same .Get on site by 9am .Security showed up an hour later to direct traffic of which there was none.
They were playing cards and phone time - cut a few branches about 2ft below the lines and move 50ft up rd to do same thing all over again. They did not have a chipper - just left the cut stuff in the bushes or in the road .The guy in the bucket was casing our fenced and gated property .My husband shot off a few rounds from the shotgun behind the house just to let them know to move on.Worst was the cig butts and empty Styrofoam plate lunch empty's left strewn where ever they were that day.
It took this crew 5 weeks to do a one mile section of road and they missed half the tree's maybe on purpose - who knows?
Job security maybe. Is it little wonder why phone and HELCO rates are so high?

Now we live on pavement on Rd 8 in H.A.and have both solar and HELCO and a land line and a triple fenced yard with cameras and viscous dogs in the one fenced configuration and no problems yet.

Yes you probably were being cased - film it all and call their bosses.

Life in Puna is like this - over in America more worse.

A "triple fenced yard?" I'm all for property protection but haven't heard of this before. What is the logic? Can one really good fence do the job?

One for the pigs on perimeter. Two more to keep the dogs contained in a moat of sorts ... Heh Heh .. Am I close Mrs. Mimosa ?

The nice dog can roam, the mean dogs in between and the kill everything ( including the owner ) dog on a remote control release.

I believe that I have that award, or are you taking it back...? Good Golly Miss Molly I am taken aback

Be kind. I can’t take any negative feedback regarding my a$$holeness. I am, despite your holiness, very sensitive. If you are actually saying that Paul W is the worst troll, I am shocked, shocked, I’m surprised.

I have failed. I am worthless and weak, Animal House style. Thank you EW, for getting all us PWers straight. Thank you. Can I have another?

You're accusing a licensed and insured tree service company and a security company of casing properties ?
Are you kidding us ? How long do you think they would stay in business if this were true ?
The guy in the bucket is the highest paid most long term employee on the crew !

Thank you. Some one with common Sense. Licensed/bonded. Prolly not out to scope your garbage. They might bring in more a year than you do.it is a skilled job.

Most of you Puna Webbers are great. Lots of wonderful valuable information. Just a couple of them have gone too far in the past and I'm not one to just sit back and accept it. Paul is one and you, Kneift have been there too.

The subject is this Big Island Tree Service company with some really pilau employees. I have experienced it and so have others here obviously.

You can go ahead and make it look like a trolling thread if you want Kneift and Paul, and bring back some spats in the past where I call you (because unlike some others I will address it) on your degrading words and actions. Go ahead and resent that and drag it on, I care not.

I just want to point out that most of these spats have occurred because of the simple fact that I don't like pesticides and you feel differently about them (which you're allowed to) but it turns into you insulting me personally because of my views.

Who is the bigger troll? The troll that trolls or the troll that trolls the troll?

Thanks Obie. There sure are a lot of paranoid people in Puna.

Mimosa, I sure hope your dogs don't ever attack anyone, or you don't shoot anyone on your property trying to take your stuff. If either of those things happen, you will be steeped in legal costs and deeply regret it, or, even worse, you'll spark off a war between ohanas. Do you really think you can shoot someone and there will be no repercussions on an island where everyone is connected?
