Tree service workers casing property?
#31
Just because a company is bonded doesn't mean they don't occasionally hire a bad employee. Good to let them know you are watching. I stare down the lookie-loos that slow down in front of my driveway to watch me weedwack in the nude.

Whoa Randomq you are brave!!

Not because of the stare down but because of the high velocity shrub particles and pebbles that are prone to hitting nether regions when weedwhacking while nude.

Ironyak: If you want to call me a troll because I engage those that attack me directly then or a (troll's troll) as you worded it then I accept that. Like I said, I think most of the Puna Webbers are great!

Our new home on pavement is code and triple protected. The 3 fences keep out all vermin including humans .One nephew is in Law Enforcement and suggested we protect our land and home in this manner .The mean dogs we have are well trained and plenty signage. They run the entire perimeter moat style.
We do not shoot humans glass - and our fire arms are legal in gun safe.
We have every right to own fire arms and to protect our property under - county - state and federal laws .
Nobody will enter without prior authorization .
Some employees of the varied tree service companies are not exactly model citizens.

We’ll probably never know for certain whether the tree trimmer in the boom truck bucket was casing sfendt’s property. But we can be pretty sure of one thing - - he most likely didn’t hijack this thread.

I was just disappointed that I wasn’t the worst. My pride was bruised.

Triple fencing a HA lot would take over 6000’ of fence, 1.14 miles.

Would you suggest in the long run a person might save money if they buy a slightly higher priced lot, in a subdivision that doesnt require post apocalyptic survival style systems and apparatus?
(I’d reference Road Warrior, but even those vehicles couldn’t rattle through some of the unpaved back roads in the Acres.)

"Earlier this year I was given a rough quote of $8-10/LF for T-post and hogwire"

$60,000 for fencing, really ??

Probably to protect the water tower.

C'mon guys. There's no requirement that the fence has to surround the entire property. BIG difference between 3 acres and 1/4 acre to protect the house area. Just sayin'.

Plus, 90 year old Mrs. Mimosa and her 2 - stroke husband could save some costs by doing the work themselves. Smile
