Thanks for the insight, I'll have to see what Ag extension says (they said a Master is available to speak on Friday/Monday). Can definitely see hot rock being a concern. But good to know your breadfruit is producing! Did you dig out the blue rock/lava with an o'o bar Lolo? Or electric tool?

Just used an o bar. I was lucky, the rocks were small. I choose different locations if I hit large blue rocks. Way too much work.

Kumarsah, when you get here, and if you can transplant, I have to thin out many fruit and ormanental trees (many but not all palms of one sort or another). The previous owner has a jungle -full of plants that we will eventually remove. Of course, I've been here six years and only removed bromeliads (and odd sprouting coco palm) during Dengue scare of 2014(?).
