Tulsi Speaks Up.. Finally
#1
https://twitter.com/TulsiGabbard:

Hey @realdonaldtrump: being Saudi Arabia’s bitch is not “America First.”

Maybe Tulsi is taking a page from Mazie's play book? After all being a little edgy has gotten Mazie a lot of national attention. There is a rumor Tulsi is positioning herself to try a grab for a lot of national attention.. but who know?

IMO, after two years of being frustrated by the Democratic house being stifled.. and as such Tulsi as well.. her sentiment to Trump is a long time in coming and richly deserved. This is the first time I feel I have been directly represented by Tulsi.

"@TulsiGabbard met with Bashar al-Assad last year and expressed doubt that he had attacked his own civilians with chemical weapons."

Does this statement make you feel all warm and fuzzy too ?

Warm and fuzzy? Obie, I wouldn't go as far as saying anything to do with the horror in the Middle East can be characterized as warm and fuzzy. But hey, if it floats your boat.

Though I was kind of proud of Tulsi in that instance as well. She was on a fact-finding mission in a land that is torn to shreds and we have had more than a heavy hand in it. Our policies in the region have never been adequately explained. And there are a lot of people dying at our hands.. either directly or indirectly. But it is our bombs, and our money and our advisers and nobody, democrat or republican, has laid it out clearly so yeah,.. I was proud of Tulsi then too.

Gabbard has herself faced criticism for meeting with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in 2017 in Damascus. That decision was noted by Meghan McCain in response to Gabbard’s tweet.

“Big words coming from a woman who pals around with Bashar al-Assad as he chemically gasses women and children…”

Yeah, Tulsi should keep better company than Crazy (all men should just shut up and step up) Hirono.

That's not the kind of attention she needs.

Well, Tulsi didn't have bone spurs; and actually earned her right to speak out.

Low Class and unbecoming

Our Hawaii Congressional delegation generally present themselves in a respectful and dignified manner. With an occasional exception.
If you’re looking for low class and unbecoming on a daily basis however, the guy who we’ve all given up on ever acting presidential is a sure bet.

"I want great climate, we’re going to have that.” President Donald J. Trump, while viewing the massive wildfire devastation 11/17/18. (The J stands for Jenius)
"I'm at that stage in life where I stay out of discussions. Even if you say 1+1=5, you're right - have fun." - Keanu Reeves

RWR - Are you really offended? Really?

If so I suspect you really hate the repubs and the deal they made with the devil. I mean what's a little swearing compared to a guy that swears by grabbing women by their genitals? A guy who's every word is a lie, and every thought demeaning and repulsive? Who says it's ok for some country to kill it's reporters and chopping their body's up? I bet you are horrified by the behavior of everyone that is selling our environment so as to allow corporate greed to run rapid just a little longer. I imagine you are appalled by the education system in America that has raised a generation with such low expectations as to think the government is using climate changes as a ruse to "destroy our freedom." I mean come on, aren't those all greater offenses to your sensibilities than a few words?

I too am upset that the Hawaii Department of Education is so far behind the curve. But you know, I bet the more vocal here, in that way, actually were educated on the mainland.
