Hey PunaGirl...
I booked them for the interisland flights when they were $39...2 days later they lowered it to $29 :-( I going in December, so won't know how they are until then.

It's Mesa Airlines...they are making a concerted effort to outdo the local inter-island airlines pricewise...sounds like a good deal and sometimes they will do a local sale for two or three days and you can pick up a ticket for $19!

Hey Tikiyaki - when are you on island? Where are you staying? I am there from Nov 21 - Dec 2. We are actually on Oahu Nov 29 - Dec 2. Sounds like we are just missing each other. Let me know if we overlap at all. My husband & I would love to meet up with you and show you some of our house plan ideas.

Last month we flew go. The flight from hilo to Oahu was delayed an hour and a half. comming back ontime. The planes are new and seat 2 on
each side so no one gets stuck in a middle seat. In Oahu the planes fly in and out of the commuter terminal. So it is less congested and fast to get through security. They deplane on the tarmack and you walk to the terminal. I beleive because the plane are smaller, lower to the ground. The safety info is on the intercom prerecorded. the music they play while your boarding and exiting is kinda Hip hoppish. There are no free Beverages. although, although you can buy sodas, beer, and some mixed drinks. I would use them again. I just booked them for $29 over to Oahu again and booked Aloha Back for $29. Aloha and Hawaiian are usaully matching prices and have larger Schedule choices so shop, shop shop while the prices are down. I would patronize Go! anytime I could when prices are comparable. If Go! goes under, then the prices will all go back up and the "price fixing" will start once again. I hope Go! is successful.

I am a frequent flyer on GO! and used them five times so far. (You get a free flight after 10 trips.) No problem ever, they actually checked me in for the return flight right here in Kona when I was coming back the same day. Cathy (my wife) is taking GO! from Honolulu back to Kona this morning too.

Hey Aimee - GO for it. We've used them several times, and Soph is flying them tomorrow. We've not always got the cheaper fare due to timing, but service has been great. And just seem to be a bit friendlier/service oriented than HA. I forget the name, but the prerecorded safety info even has some humor.
They have become our 1st choice when paying cash, and lately HA just hasn't quite had the FF flights available we needed - GO figure. David Ninole Resident

If Mesa wanted to enter the interisland market so badly why didn't they bid for the more established carrier's assets when they were in chapter 11? Now they want to disrupt and traumatize the market by going under the financially unstable airlines.
I was going to go with Go but you gotta pay $20-30 more for them to send you the tickets- not worth it. Others want to make friends- I just want to make money. James Cramer

Go will be code sharing with Mokulele to fly to Molokai. We wanted to go to Molokai from Oahu in a couple of weeks, but opted not to as the price for tickets was a bit high. Maybe when this begins it will be reasonable. Check Star bulliten story Aloha Wyatt http://starbulletin.com/2006/09/14/news/story01.html
