I guess it depends where you choose to look.

Any examples of such from YOUR observation.

Open d's blindness may be excused elsewhere, but here in Hawaii where we are seeing the effects of climate change as graphically as we are the entire issue is settled science, let's accept that and move on.

Take a picture of some of this destruction and post it.

Your "the sky is falling" agiprop poses far more of a threat to the situation than a bottling plant in Hilo

The problem with people who want to control other people, is they can't "let" them have an opinion that differs from their own.

Again, it's called DEBATE and it is a two-way affair, despite glinda's protestations.

Actually it is not a debate. There are no winners or losers. It is merely an online discussion.
Assume the best and ask questions.

Still, should be a two-way affair.

Still, should be a two-way affair.

Limiting the discussion to two opinions is a well-known strategy that's been exploited to drive our political system into a ditch.

There are, in fact, more than two ways

what part of two-way is:

Your hyperbole is not helpful?

Once upon a time, a frog was happily swimming in a pot half full of water. He didn't care whether the water came from a tap or from individual disposable plastic bottles.
"Makes no difference to me! says the frog.

The water in the pot started out at a comfortable temperature, but over time it became warmer. This made some other frogs uncomfortable.
"I'll just buy ice cubes for the pot!" said the frog, as he worked on his latest scheme to sell thermometers which read 82 degrees when it was actually 91 degrees. "Capitalism AND mind over matter at it's finest!" said the frog. "It's a twofer!"

The temperature continued to climb, slowly, and the frog persisted, telling everyone he could "it's all good!". Right up until it wasn't.

The end. (literally)

Another example-less post. Did I, for example, call for a complete ban of plastics?

No, but I pointed out that such a ban would be damaging to the economy, and gave an example.

Did I say we were DESTROYING the environment?

No, but I did state that we are doing better, and are a world leader in preserving the environment, and have made great improvementx.

I suspect you are equating disagreement to hyperbole.

Nice fairytale. Got any reality to offer?
