It's amazing with the stringent guidelines, costs and timelines it takes to get a card that very few would have one. Wondering how a business could survive on very limited sales.

There are 20,000 card holders in the state.The majority are on the Big Island.They can also accept cards from out of state.

Wow, 200 dollars an ounce. that's so generous! wait, i can get an ounce of the best weed i've ever had for 150, tops, for the absolute best genetics. It's usually 140 an ounce. This is why I don't care about dispensaries, they overcharge like its their job.

I was reading through the regulations today, and was interested to see the relatively limited (at least compared to California) number of health issues for which a medical recommendation can be given. Also, for the out-of-state reciprocity, the way I read things was that you could apply and cite your out-of-state recommendation to PERHAPS get a recommendation here, with any reciprocal licenses being valid for only 60 days. My guess (and it's only a guess) is that you couldn't use an out-of-state recommendation based on a medical issue that doesn't fall under Hawaii's guidelines, because in such a case out-of-state residents would ironically have an easier time getting to the dispensary.

It's $5.00 a gram in Vancouver, Washington. That's a little less than $150.00 an ounce. It's cheaper and easier to just have someone send it to you!

If recreational mj becomes legal it will crush medical. All that money that the few rich and connected people invested will go down the drain. So don't expect it to happen soon at least until the medical people can make back some of their investment.

Wonder why those states didn't go through a snag at that point?
