Yes.
The area is mostly Shipman land. The mac nut farm and processing plant are in the area, on the northern boundary is Kings Landing with probably 30-40 (?) unpermitted structures and their builders tucked away in the forest. Otherwise I don’t believe there are many legally permitted homes between the coast and Railroad Ave.

It was painful to watch the 2 videos, especially with the older lady who said "we don't want your education or your jobs".

A public informational meeting regarding the proposal is planned for February 6, at a location to be determined.

How sad. Misguided and uninformed folks. The one lady compares it to an airport. No one will even be able to hear the rocket launches from more than 2 miles away. They just are not large enough.

Read the facs page in there menu. I like how they gloss over what a 3000lb combo of rocket fuel and an explosion would be. The sound would never travel outside 3000 meters, rite. Now its gonna be 1.5 m from Kahena beach. And very few closings of our coasts do to the launch and only 2 a month for the first year and than maybe 2 a day after that ?

U think helicopters sound loud. Try a launch w rocket fuel. I notice they dont say how many lbs of thrust they need ,or how loud the rocket is at 1000 meters.

But they do say it only has 1000 gal of rocket fuel ,and ond 2000 gal of liquid oxy.

And these will supposedly be only stored at the harbor,( withthe 1 million gallons of propane now stored. At cert training one of the worst case emergency cases is a propane explosion in Hilo port. It would level 2 city blocks. Most of Keukaha would be dead peps. But u dont hear much about that with the alaska guys.

No liability for explosion if stored of site. No accountability of any kine, and the ability to go chap 11 when the rocket blast hits da fan?

Yep, out of state interests will rule Hawaii nae
Aloha from Alaska rite

So you must be actively opposing the propane and gasoline stations within 200 yards of the elementary school in Pahoa?

A recurring observation of mine is that some people oppose anything and everything that isn't the product of their own little coconut, and much if anything comes out of there except "No!".
