Hawaii taxpayers pay more and get less in return from government than any other state. It’s not broken down by district, but I know what I pay, and I know what I get, so Puna could be the rock bottom district in the state. One measure we’ve admittedly improved on since the 2018 lava flow, we now have more rock here at rock bottom.

One-party rule. How'd that work for the Soviets?

It's not one-party rule, it's just that nobody wants to vote for the other party. Slight difference.

I was hoping somebody would point that out right away. Stalin killed up to 20 million people to secure one-party rule, in Hawaii all one needs to do is control the unions and pensions. Better this way, but unfortunately the more they bleed us, the more blood they need.

Consuming taxpayer dollars has become an addiction. They don't just want it, they gotta have it.
Assume the best and ask questions.

I'm sure someone can explain how this is the fault of people who chose to live in cheap subdivisions without any infrastructure.

"We" elected a representative who completely abdicated her responsibilities under some BIZARRE "war crimes" scheme.
We're doomed.

Nearly every councilperson from Puna became AWOL after election, Zendo Kern and Greg iligan come immediately to mind. Apparently, it's a thing.

Hawaii scored low with infrastructure/pollution and education. I'm a bit surprised with the first one. Didn't see what methods they were using to come to their conclusions.
