If anyone is interested, I have posted a page with pics of my hike into Pu'u O'o last month. Still can't stop thinking about it since it was so exciting. Enjoy.

Some spectacular shots here!
Your recent (hot!) hike of course.
And lots of the others as well.
I'm glad I took a look.
Thanks!

Hello Rob,
Great pics! I am not familiar with "Pele's hair". Can you tell me what it is?
Thanks,

Rob - Great pics. Thanks for sharing. Not sure I would be comfortable with getting so CLOSE. Yikes!
Wegian - Here's a link to a description of Pele's hair. They are thin strands of volcanic glass drawn out from molten lava.

Aloha Rob,
Your website is very professional looking. Did you do it yourself? Very impressive. :0
Spent an hour perusing all your excellent photos. Enjoyed the link to Pahoahi.tripod.com as well. Your home page mentioned many familiar things since I’m from the SF Bay area myself. Well done!
