Hawaiian Homes and the State Supreme Court

"Human race conquers for what they desire, no matter what color their skin is, and it is not a "Western" thing."

U.S. just took with "legal" ???????) paperwork...."

agree
with the first sentence... but no, not the second above.

maybe we should change our State motto to "I See,I Like,I take"......and drop "the life of the land is perpetuated in Righteousness" nonsense.

And' Tink' The Hawaiians weren't "slaughtering" in the 1800's .they ended that tact. ..can we seriously say that we stopped when they did.

Kamehameha ceded Hawaii Island to Great Britain in order to gain an alliance with them before the battle of Nuuanu. This was prior to 1893, so by virtue of the rule first come first served often cited by protestors, we must all legally be British subjects:

Likewise, Kamehameha requested military assistance and the use of artillery from Captain George Vancouver and in exchange "ceded" the island of Hawaii to Great Britain in February 1794.

Put "legal" in quotes because it is a questionable fact in history. They slaughtered before the 1800's, in order to overthrow the first occupants.

Now you know why I've been so long! The bad news is that you all now have to worry about Brexit.

Crap.
Forgot about Brexit. I was hoping Hilo Harbor could start getting direct shipments of French wines, and German cars. Guess I’ll have to settle for Marmite and Cadbury.

Well, to be fair, it is an upside down flag. Wink

Exactly. Clearly, native Hawaiians are very concerned about Brexit.
