I want to install a new bumper on my vehicle.
It can be shipped by UPS ground to a U.S. mainland address.
Haven't find anyone that'll ship to Hawaii.
I'd rather put a new part on rather than pickup a used wrecking yard bumper for it.
Is there a way to get one shipped to Hawaii reasonably?
How do the body shops get their parts?

Hawaiian Express can receive the bumper (I assume it is likely boxed) and toss it in a container for Hawaii.
https://www.hawaiianexpress.com/
Cost will be a function of cubic size and weight.
Assume the best and ask questions.

Have you checked out what may be available over in Honolulu?

I have to replace my '98 Dakota's front bumper bar.
The front bumper bar is only the metal portion of the front bumper.
It is rusting off.
The front bumper bar is much smaller and lighter than the back bumper.
The rest of the truck is still in pretty good condition.
I began covering the rusted-out areas with tape a couple of years ago.
The rust is now too extensive to tape over.
I cannot get a safety inspection with it like it is now.
I need to replace it to get the vehicle safetied, licensed and back on the road.
I do not need a new plastic lower portion of the bumper.
If I can get it shipped from the mainland, I also should get both the front fog lights complete, mounts and bulbs, mounts rusted off, bulbs dropped off.
I can get the entire package for about $250 delivered on the mainland.
I am considering using a freight forwarder, but haven't checked yet.
Even if I decide to replace the truck, I still need to replace the bumper in order to sell it.
The truck was originally sold in Mich. or Wis. where they used rock salt on the winter roads.
Alaska had changed to calcium chloride by the time the previous owner moved it there.

Your front bumper is described like the rear bumper on my Dakota. Bob's in Orchidland has never had an issue with it for safety checks.

Thanks Obie,
discountbodyparts.com took my order and PayPal paid them.
Plus, it cost $20 less than the one that wouldn't ship.
Bumper and fog lights should ship soon.
Replacement was the only way to go.
I'd already fudged this around for two years trying to put it off as long as possible.
Iv finally had to tie the plastic dam beneath the bumper on with several pieces of parachute cord.
The whole bottom of the bumper bar had rotted off.
No area left to bolt the dam up to the bumper.
All I need to do now is pick up the bolts here to attach the plastic dam, maybe the fog lights too.
I also use a Puna level safety inspection, and have done so for years.
That's why ratty old Dak still gets by until recently.
His warning led me to cover the bumper in black masking tape to cover the rust holes.
They're finally too big to be able to cover up.
We'll see when it gets here.
Thanks all.
I can now make it work.
