This one lasted 15 years.
Impressive. I only got 2-3 years, so worked out an alternative. The recipe goes like this:
- oversize pipe -- avoid 1/2" as much as possible
- remove all flow restrictors in faucets/showerheads
- undersize pump -- the little 1/8hp flojets have enough throughput
- 2-stage pressure switch (bypass the pump built-in)
Might not scale to a larger household, but it's working great for me.
