Puna Kai ... maybe in 2020?

I eat at all of the Mexican Restaurants. Everyone that complains that the flavor of the food doesn't suit them is clueless.

It's a big country with regional variations !

I like them all but my favorite after my wife's cooking is Luquin's.

We normally take our pets to Kilauea Vet but over the weekend our dog had a medical emergency. I called Sat. night and didn't hear from them until this morning. The only place willing to see him on a Sunday was the new Pahoa Animal Hospital so we took him there. Yes, there was an emergency fee of $350 but at that point we were more than willing to pay it. Dr Bill gave him excellent care. He was patient and thorough and the support staff was great too.

Makuu 222 can you provide more details on why your wife didn't like Dr. Bill?

By the way, Aloha Vet wanted $30 to just speak to someone.

I thought the care we got at Aloha Vet was fine but they take the "all services must be paid prior" to the extreme. They sent one of the front desk people to collect the amount due for the visit mid-way through euthanizing our dog. Did they think we were going to sneak out the back door with our dead dog without paying? I couldn't believe it.

The girl who came and went and came back again with our credit card was crying. I don't know if it was because she was sharing in our grief or upset she had such a horrible employer to do that to somebody.

That's terrible. After we left Pahoa Animal Hospital our dog got worse. Dr. Bill said he was coming in the evening to check on some animals and let us come there again on Sun. night, gave us more medication and said we could settle up today.

Kalianna... Wife said Dr Bill was ruff with both our cats as she watched him give them annual examinations and shots. Not gentle like the other doctors were at Aloha Vet. Maybe he was just having a bad day but wife branded him after seeing his bedside manor.

Thank you, Makuu222. Hard to tell bedside manor with our dog right now but I've been very happy with the treatment he's received.
