Can anyone define the boundaries of this so called "Sunbelt" in HPP?
I've seen it referenced a few times in real estate listings and assume it is the lower portion of the subdivision but does anyone have a better description and approximate boundaries?

When I bought my home over 20 years ago my realtor said below 10th Street was drier & sunnier. In my experience that’s probably a pretty good demarcation if one needs to be made.
Near the ocean 70-80 inches of rain per year is about average, at the highway maybe 110 inches?

I heard many times about the “banana belt”, “sun belt” and “blue hole”. The boundary mentioned most often was 5th to the ocean.

In my experience, 5th to the ocean seems about right.

For a bit more of the perimeter rain numbers, an orchid farm on 1st ave Kaloli side, kept consistent and reliable
measurements for much of the late 80' and most of the 90', and his numbers averaged about right around 90".

7th to the ocean seems about right for me.
