Need temporary/Generator and Labor

Howdy,

New here. My name is Brett. I'm building a small home in Ainaloa using Castleblock supplied components (Protec walls, Galvamet roof). I'm a single father of a beautiful 2 1/2 year old son. He spends half of his time with me and half with his mother. However, he'll be heading off island to visit with his mother's family for 3 weeks starting next Wed. That means I'll have 3 weeks to focus on building. Although, I'll miss him a ton.

Anyway, this is my building status. I hit some roadblocks (typical, huh?) that delayed my slab pour which finally happened yesterday(approx. 3 months later than initially anticipated). Woohoo!! The latest roadblock is that HELCO apparently didn't get my request for temporary service. The earliest I can get service, if everything went w/o a hitch would be a week from Wed. but, I need to start building next week.

I'm looking for a generator to use/rent for about one week. Can anybody help?
Also, I'm looking for some help in what should be some fun and productive days putting this puppy together.

You might try calling Pahoa Hardware (965-6459) which rents generators. Good luck with the project, and I can promise you that those 3 weeks will fly by fast!
