Gov. David Ige says state indoor mask mandate to end March 25
As I suspected. No use in sharing information with you guys, because of close minded nature. Won’t bother anymore, I’m sure when you get Covid you can take the paxlovid at 80% effective! Kinda like their 95% effective vaccine, you can’t get Covid!

Wish you all well in your bubble.
At a Berkshire Hathaway events some years ago, Warren Buffett's partner Charlie Munger made an observation about speculation in the financial world, which may apply in other areas of life as well, such as healthcare:

“If you mix raisins with turds, they’re still turds."
No use in sharing information with you guys

Electric guns cure COVID, but nobody in Hawaii knows this -- citizens aren't yet allowed to purchase electric guns -- which proves they cure COVID because there's no data that says they don't.

It's more about how you understand and interpret the data. For instance, 95% efficacy doesn't mean that no one can become infected with Covid. That's why it's 95% and not 100%. Paxlovid is for treating Covid once you have it and seems to have a pretty high success rate when it comes to people not dying. Obviously, using your logic, the so-called 20% efficacy of Ivermectin is much better than that, for reasons I'm unable to fathom.

The other thing I'm starting to get from your posts is that you really like to make stuff up, in particular, you put words in other people's mouths. That's a very weak debating tactic, in fact, it's a logical fallacy, but for some reason, you keep doing it. The bubble you talk of is your own creation and you're in it.

Interesting. Of course, when placebos account for a measurable percentage blah...

Thanks, but we've already discussed this paper, HOTPE posted the link earlier.
As I said I was sick with Covid and they did not offer me paxlovid, I do not think it was available. Whatever the efficacy of ivermectin vs nothing I don’t know, but I didn’t want to do nothing and do not regret the choice. We shall see how effective Pfizer’s new drug in treatment of Covid is, given the efficacy of the vaccine I think people will be happy to have something that isn’t nothing. I know multiple people who have gotten Covid recently vaccinated, boosted or otherwise, and those that got “nothing” didn’t and aren’t doing so Well.
Covid is no joke if you get it bad.
Wish you well

I've read over this whole thread and looked at all points of views.  Why is it that I'm able to understand HawaiiEV's posts and it seems some people misinterpret them?

"(Obviously using your logic"...)  -Right there is condescending insult.   A jab that is not necessary.  He simply posted studies showing Ivermectin has shown to be up to 20% effective and for some people without options and they deemed it better than nothing.  Nowhere did HawaiiEV state that ivermectin is better than Paxlovid for treating covid19.  He also stated very clearly that he wasn't offered Paxlovid and tried Ivermectin from a friend.

I'm on the side of science and I have been vaccinated and yet I find myself feeling sorry for HawaiiEV and other people with similar points of view.  The way he is ganged up on and ridiculed simply for posting his beliefs and findings.  Ever consider that some people are online bullies and don't even know it?

Also the part where posts get deleted on social media now because of "fear mongering" is a bunch of crap.  What happened to freedom of speech?  Why are they treating us like school children?  We're adults and can make our own decisions.
What happened to freedom of speech?

Privately-owned social media platforms, while open to the public, are not required to provide any "freedom of speech".

studies showing Ivermectin has shown to be up to 20% effective

I wish the study authors well. Also the people self-medicating with horse de-wormer. But I am not willing to pay for either.
shown to be up to 20% effective

If I was at Long's Drug Store and one pain reliever said GET FAST PAIN RELIEF MAYBE 1 OUT OF 5 TIMES! and another said CDC & DOCTOR RECOMMENDED! I know which one I'd buy.
Ah, mask cultists vs ivermectin cultists. *grabs the popcorn*
How about people who got all the vaccines and wore masks and didn't covid.

Bunch of people here pushing their cure after they got it.

The former made more sense to me. I didn't get it.
I grew up when polio had an unknown treatment other than braces and iron lungs and when it came along we all got the vaccine.
