claiming you're in the majority without providing any evidence
This strategy seems familiar -- where have I seen it before?
I guess they haven’t been out in public recently. No one on the mainland is wearing masks and most people at Malama yesterday weren’t either. The evidence is in functioning eye sight, but they still clinging to the mask resistance! Viva la mask and remember to stay at least 6 feet, probably 12 feet away from me since I’m not wearing a mask. I’ll be the one smiling.

Observing how many people are wearing masks at Malama market is an entirely different issue than the question of how much support the federal airline mask mandate enjoyed. Keeping/dropping the mandate is not important to me personally, although given the recent upsurge in Covid nationwide I thought it was sensible to keep it in place for a couple more weeks to see if hospitalizations increased. I do feel it's important not to misrepresent public sentiment about this. https://www.forbes.com/sites/alisondurke...a1cdcf7e48 "A Harris poll conducted April 1-3 found 60% wanted the transportation mask mandate to be extended, including 32% who strongly supported it versus only 21% who strongly opposed it."

I flew to the mainland on Tuesday. In my observation, 90% of the travelers were not wearing masks. 90% of the workers at the airport and flight attendants were wearing them.

Masks worked, protected a lot of people in high risk jobs, and now that vaccines and milder strains are here they're not needed by most. Don't try to revise history that they never worked or people never wanted them.
I will agree, the one way lanes thing was a joke, but hey at least people cared enough about each other to try. Hawaii is better than most places in that respect.

That's a bit more than functioning eyesight, it's making stuff up.

Lol. Yeah you right guys. Everyone still wearing masks, at least 90% and I don’t know anyone on the mainland or travel there. I’m an idiot, so sorry for lying.
