Booksale
#1
The Pahoa Friends of the Library is having a booksale tomorrow, Friday Sept 2, from 10am to 3:30 pm.  It is in  conjunction with the Library's 55th anniversary celebration.

It's the first big sale since covid started, and there will be plenty plenty books, DVDs and CDs.  The anniversary celebration part will have popcorn and cupcakes (time?).

Since it's an election year, there will also be several politicians in attendance for the anniversary part - I've heard they are coming about 1pm.

Thanks for posting this. Here's the library's link to the event:

I can't wait to see what the "Tiny Art Show" is about!

Report from the field:

It was great. Got a lot of books, a couple of DVD's and a CD (remember them?). Great selection.

The Tiny Art Show was little canvases on easels, a couple of inches big, of various mediums. All ages represented. Some were really cool.

We went early and didn't stay for the politicians. Also somehow missed the cupcakes...

Again, thanks Punaperson, really enjoyed this, and would have missed out had you not posted.
