Spectrum internet has been out in HPP for almost 24 hrs. 13.5 inches of rain since Thurs night.

I’ve always liked this report from The National Weather Service. 

The link should refresh to current data every 2 hours. 

As of 10AM:

Kulani 16.53 inches in the last 24 hours 
Mountain View 9.42 inches in the last 24 hours
Pahoa 9.43 inches in the last 24 hours 
Hilo Airport 5.19 inches in the last 24 hours 

Unfortunately, Glenwood is off line and showing as “missing” so either no power or internet or both.

So more fake propaganda then! Typical government agency, probably under-counting the totals to make the administration look good. Or over-counting to get some FEMA funds which are taken from my taxes!? Or something, I missed today's talking points memo, but I'm sure the government is lying like always!!! IITYWTMIWHTKY ;)

The hits keep coming - can't get even all the local power outages to display on a single map. Easier to say that everyone is out of power, unless you know otherwise firsthand. Seeing multiple reports on social media of people blowing through stoplights that are out and not treating them as 4-way stops - stay safe out there!

Don’t worry. Green has already declared a State of Emergency, and by Wednesday, everyone will be complaining about how hot it is and that we’re in a drought!

As for power, the joys of having a massively oversized solar system is worth its weight in whatever commodity that is currently not being reported as “fake!”

Power outages are still numerous and widespread but more spotty with smaller pockets effected. Crews coming from Oahu today to help out.

Still enough issues to impact some routines - Kau High & Paaala Elementary School and Naalehu Elementary School are closed today due to road conditions, as well as Hawaii Academy of Arts and Science in Pahoa closed due to a downed electrical line.

I'd take that map with a pinch of salt. I've seen areas, yesterday, that went down and come back up stay out according to the map for hours after the power was restored. Not to say it, the map, ain't a great idea but rather in times of crisis I imagine managing it isn't the company's first priority.
