**This Post is about HPP and HPPOA Dysfunction** (renamed to spare the uninterested)

You haven't lived here that long.

I never said HPPOA was trying to intimidate you and I don't speak for HPPOA.
You haven't owned property in HPP that long either.  Have you ever attended HPPOA board or membership meetings in person?  Have you ever volunteered on any HPP committees or attended any of their meetings?   Curious how you know *so much* about HPPOA?   Just asking for myself.  Mahalo.

Aloha, Mr. O,

Yes, many can read the HPPOA minutes. I have read decades of them, and the motion logs as well. But as I said, minutes are not a full accounting of everything that was discussed, and depending upon who took them and when they were taken a lot of info can be missing and/or corrupted (intentionally or not).

Getting info straight from the source, in order to "clarify..." Well, I would say that info is probably going to be pretty spot on and accurate (as opposed to abbreviated minutes). So again....

From a past board member who was there:

"The Watumulls NEVER officially agreed to mailboxes on the restricted lots. And they have not done so multiple times as stated in some other communications. I spoke to Sheila once and her attorney twice. To my knowledge, no one else has conferred with them directly concerning this issue since 2013. Even though they were amenable to considering the boxes, if the board had proceeded with getting a written document, there may have been restrictions - maybe only one lot, maybe a limit on the number per lot, or?

If you have attorney's' opinions stating that it is OK to put the boxes on these lots, they should have contacted the Watumulls and have something in writing authorizing such action.

My letter in NO WAY endorses proceeding with the boxes on the restricted lots without written approval from the Watumulls. HPP has had enough lawsuits in its history. Why open the door to possibly another one?"

Not the same as attending where you get the information first hand.  BOD Meeting minutes are not always reliable as they have been weaponized...especially when directors are defendants in lawsuits = can contain misinformation, bias to cover their akoles in a lawsuit.  Meeting minutes also weaponized against lot owners' owner input = words twisted or lacking entire input.  Same MO against directors who aren't "towing the line".   Word manipulations to try and shatter ppl's credibility, suggest they're lying and/or concoct an alternate reality.  Best to attend in person or on zoom (which is available now) to get accurate information.

Well sometimes the minutes are lacking especially when Mermaid was a director. She would never let them be approved because when she read the ridiculous stuff she was saying she always wanted to change them.

Sometimes board meetings went on for 6 hours while she was dragging out approval.

They finally posted them verbatum. They make for interesting reading.

I do watch the zoom meetings. It's fun to watch Patricia make an ass of herself and then she makes such a disruption that people start filing about because they tire of her screaming.
I know it's part of her plan to cause the meeting to lose quorum.

Then when she's satisfied, she storms out .

The chair of the meeting should call her out of order and throw her out at the 1st outburst.

Aloha Mr. O,

Ouch. But I am not going to get caught up in addressing your personal attacks, or go into your history with Mermaid (if people want to relive that they can just scroll through the old PW posts).

I am also not going to allow you to deflect and change the subject.

Some of the board and their supporters are disseminating false information. And it needs to be called out. Especially when the info, coming straight from the sources mouth, is NOT what the board and their supporters are stating:

"The Watumulls NEVER officially agreed to mailboxes on the restricted lots."

And

"My letter in NO WAY endorses proceeding with the boxes on the restricted lots without written approval from the Watumulls. HPP has had enough lawsuits in its history. Why open the door to possibly another one?"

The subject has already been changed. We are talking about your constant disruptive conduct at meetings.

You have had your say about deeds and the Watamulls and everyone who wants has already seen it.

I want to know why you think you are so special and always want the last word.

I can't go to the meets because I would rip the mic out of your hand and yell at you to sit down and shut up. I would keep yelling until you got in your car and left.

Were you at those meetings in person?  NO.  You just proved my point about the minutes being weaponized to ruin my credibility.  One of your friends was present at one of those meetings and told me during owner input to keep fighting to defend the meeting minutes as they need to be accurate.  Her owner input was conveniently left out of the meeting minutes. Now you're once again, perpetuating false information about me here on PT, and attacking another Punaweb member in such a malicious manner.  You have been a HPP board defender since 2014, years before you owned in HPP.  It's in the PT threads word for word.  No one has manipulated what you've posted.  What if someone did?  How would you defend yourself?

Ah, yes. The new "intellect's" way of settling civil discourse!

I'm pretty old to be accused of being a new intellect but I would never do that because I'm not going to their silly meeting.
Why would my yelling at Patricia be and different than what she does. She starts yelling from the back of the room and the meeting has to stop until she walks to the front and takes the mic.

mermaid

They had a paid recording secretary at those meetings who wrote the minutes, a paid professional not a member of HPPOA.
At least they had one until she quit in tears near midnight at one meeting.

It took awhile to find another recording secretary.
