Is It True?Property prices to drop in a year or 2
#11
Aloha Maka,

Usually the prices on Oahu are the last to fall and the first to rise. Track the Oahu market and when the prices there start to go back up, then you should have six months or so to find your Big Island spot before the rising prices reach here. JMHO, of course, though, I'm not a professional land sales person.

A hui hou,

Thanks for the info everyone. My husband read this post today and told me I was Nuts. (Lets see if he gets anything from me tonight..Smile He said he was not going to wait 2 years here and continue to pay $18K a month for rent and the added increase to come soon. He has been interested in Tiki Gardens and Ainaloa and with his boss's help, he's been sending pictures of Lots FSBO and sending info to us. His Boss now lives in the Captn. Cook area. (Too far) and loves it. He travels to Hilo often for contracting bids (I guess you could call it, He's a contractor) I did get alittle info from another post about AinaPua. I have never heard of the place But the person said it is located behind of Tiki Gardens and has Paved roads. How exciting.
John Rabi, You funny guy, I don't believe in fortune tellers. It's against my religon. But we won't go there right now.
I visited your page. Nice picture of you. Handsome. And I'm not even trying to score points either.Smile Where are your listings for land? I like your page. It's very informative. Are you a Buyer Broker? Have you heard of Ainapua? What do you think about the place. I know I need to get over there again soon to do my own research, but some advance advice and info would be nice too if not to much trouble.
Mahalo again for all the info.
Aloha, Maka

Thanks for the compliments Maka! I actually am very proud of my web site. I was the first real estate agent in Kona to have a web site in 1994 and I have been upgrading it ever since. I would gladly help you but I am just kind of a Half-Punatic. Smile I only know HPP and Leilani Estates well, and while I am familiar with most of the other Puna subdivisions too, I think you would be much better off with John Dirgo helping you there. You can reach him at john@hawaiirealproperty.com. Tell him I referred you, maybe he will buy me lunch for it one of these days! Smile (Just kidding! He is a good guy and a very knowledgeable real estate agent.) Good luck with your move!

Hi John Rabi, Your very welcome. I just got through reading the Lava Ocean Adventure forum. Did you check your butt to see if it was still there. It seems that they really ripped into you. I guess you gotta watch what you say here huh? I thought it funny.
The funny thing is, John D reffered you to me.... Go figure. Oh well, thanks for the info anyway. You still took a nice picture. Smile
Loffelkopffl, Hope you get your riches someday. My husband doesn't want to wait for the big drop. He too feels like everyone else here and thinks it will be going back up and not lower. Maybe I should make a bet with him and see whose nuts. hahaha

I think John Rabi looks and writes like he is Simon Cowell and is a hypocrit too. Just from his posts on Puna web. The other people had a good point. Who else, has a signature with their business on it on punaweb. I have no problem with it but I think that is really funny. Sorry, I'm just concerned about him and what he tells people about Hawaii.

I referred you to John R.? I don't remember that, but at that time, you perhaps had expressed an interest in properties more toward the Kona side, because I do refer a number of people interested in that area to Mr. Rabi. And John, let's go to lunch next time you're in the area.
