Ohia Trees...

If you carefully pull small ohia up out of the thin ground they are usually rooted in, and trim the long roots, leaving a good amount of roots, they probably would transplant fairly easy. Maybe soak them a few hours and then plant. I am trying this.

Hey Carrie, If you would like a baby Ohia tree.
I have some that came up from seed. They are rooted in some hollow Hāpu'u fern logs easy to take with.

Are the Ohia fast or slow growers? I think the salmon colored ones would be beautiful, I've never seen one.
