Installation of First Flush on catchment tank
#21
Hi beachboy,

I plan on paying them a visit tomorrow. I get the keys to the house tomorrow.

If not, I can see them on Saturday if they are open. I have an extremely busy week coming up.

I will probably be going up there myself this weekend. I bought my UV setup about two weeks ago and still haven't mounted it yet. But I gearing for this weekend. I bought the $1100.00 setup. She said that with this system you will be guaranteed "bottled water"quality water from any faucet inside or out. The two filters don't have to be changed that often either with this system. Instead of changing every other month. You change these filters every ten months or so.

So I'm off to get additional cpvc & supplies to mount this buggar myself! Tired of house water smelling like *ss

Hi Beachboy!

Wow! What system did you buy, if you don't mind me asking.

I got the keys today, so I have a lot of cleanup to do.

if you go to their shop they have one set up hanging from wall. It has to big blue plastic tubes for filters, and a long silver tube for UV. It was $1100. and some change, but it comes ready to mount right out of box too! But all the other places I went and checked out their setup too. All the other shops high end UV systems basically cost the same. But the one major difference in Leena'sUV setup is the time between changing filters. Most these other places tell you that micron filter must be changed monthly, and the other one every other month! But with Hawaii Catchment' Co. UV setup filters changed every 10 months to a year!

Stan, did you go there already yet?

Stan, did you ever make it to Shipman to check out UV setup there? If you still haven't made it and are pressed for time, you can always drop by my house and checkout my setup on 3rd Ave in HPP. You do live in HPP,right?

hang ten,

Roger

Hi beachboy,

I saw your system! That looks great.

I can't wait to get mine installed. I picked up a Pura UV20-3 system.
