High Rollers in Puna...
#1
George Lucas and Steven Spielberg, two of the biggest names in Hollywood, quietly touched down in Hilo on Monday to work on the fourth Indiana Jones movie.

The two landed just after 4:30 p.m. at the old Hilo airport. They arrived separately in private jets amid tight security. They were given lei and were quickly escorted into different vehicles before leaving the airport for undisclosed locations.

Spielberg is directing the film, which will once again feature actor Harrison Ford as the wisecracking, whip-snapping Indiana Jones. Lucas is co-executive producer and co-writer.

They were just here in New Haven until last week. They took up the whole town. But, hanging out with Harrison Ford's entourage.... that was cool

"How do you know i am mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the cat "or you wouldnt have come here."

They have been doing some work on the Shipman estate this week.
WHEELCHAIR?? Harrison Ford is only 65... a youngster compared to actors. (If you think back, he wasn't a twenty year old when he did the the first, with all of that action!)

Regarding that first Indiana Jones movie, which of course was largely filmed on Kauai, I read once that Tom Selleck was their first choice for the part, but he had just committed to doing the "Magnum P.I." series,so he had to turn it down. What a break for Harrison Ford!

But bummer for Tom Sellick, since he has not really hit it off. I would think that Indiana Jones has made way more money then magnum PI ever would.

Tho, it would have been interesting if Tom was the main actor would it have gone as far or be as popular then Harrison has taken it? I suppose no one will ever know the answer to that question, tho, If I were working on a mini series and Spielberg called me up I think I would make the time to do a movie with him that is if I were a Main actor. I guess you gotta wonder how many times Tom thinks back "What If!!!" hahaha
