Free Cuban Red Banana Keikis
#1
UPDATE: I think I have reached my quota. :-)

To those below and the folks who sent an email, let me get back to you in the order that you responded. I'll start digging them up today and will contact you as they become ready for pickup.

Thanks for the interest.

Aloha,

We have some cuban reds to give away. We transplated some from a mother plant months ago but planted them too close to a bamboo.

The fruit of this banana tree is very tasty. The fruit itself has reddish peel which turns a bit orange as it ripens. The actual fruit is a creamy orange.

The tree has a beautiful red trunk. Please note that the tree is large (up to 15 feet).

Contact me via this forum if you're interested.

Noel

Noel,
Haven't heard from you. I am REALLY interested in the bananas. I have three different kinds on my land now and hope to diversify even further.

By the way, is there anything that grows up my way (Glenwood - Hapu'u comes to mind) that you might need or like to swap????

Call me. Pam 345 8440

Hi Pam,

I will be digging up the keikis for you and the others who have responded here and in email. I'll contact you as soon as I get them into bags. I'm tied up with something that came up at work so it will be towards the end of this week.

I'm happy to share what we have and I'm sure that there may be other plants that we can swap. We can compare notes later. :-)
